Grailboard Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Grailboard mobile application and the grailboard.app website (together, the "Service"), operated by Rimal Labs LLC ("Grailboard", "we", "us").
By creating an account or using Grailboard, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (grailboard.app/privacy) and Community Guidelines.
1. About Grailboard
Grailboard is a community platform where collectors showcase their personal trading-card collections, choose a Holy Grail, build Vault Walls, follow other collectors, and take part in the weekly Grail of the Week vote.
Grailboard is not a marketplace. It does not facilitate buying, selling, trading, or any transaction between users, and it does not provide valuations, authentication, or grading.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Grailboard, or older if the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for services like this one.
By creating an account, you represent that you are legally permitted to use the Service, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you will follow these Terms.
3. Accounts
You can sign in with Apple, Google, or an email address. You are responsible for your account and for anything done with it.
You agree not to:
- Share your account or sign-in credentials.
- Create accounts using false information.
- Impersonate another person or organisation.
- Access another user's account without permission.
- Create multiple accounts to evade limits, suspensions, or voting rules.
4. Your Content
You may upload card images, card details (grade, set, player, story), Vault Walls, profile information, comments, and other community content ("Content").
You own your Content. By posting it, you grant Grailboard a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your Content as needed to operate, promote, and improve the Service — including showing it in feeds, search, other collectors' Following feeds, Vault Walls, the Grail of the Week vote, the winner showcase on the Home screen, and link previews when someone shares a Grailboard link. This licence ends when you delete the Content or your account, except where it has already been shared with others or where we must keep it under Section 10.
You are responsible for making sure you have the rights to post your Content. You may not post Content that:
- Is a photo you did not take, or a card you do not own.
- Violates copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property rights.
- Shows fake, counterfeit, or misrepresented cards, or misleading grades or card details.
- Is illegal, fraudulent, or misleading.
- Harasses, threatens, or abuses others, or is hateful or offensive.
- Is spam or repetitive.
5. Community Guidelines
The in-app Community Guidelines are part of these Terms. In addition to Section 4, you must not:
- Manipulate the Grail of the Week vote, including with fake accounts, vote trading, or automation.
- Harass other collectors.
- Spam, scrape, or disrupt the Service.
You can report any upload, comment, or profile with the report button, and you can block other collectors. We review reports and may remove Content, void votes or nominations, and restrict, suspend, or permanently remove accounts that violate these Terms. Removal may happen without notice.
6. Grail of the Week
Each week a vote opens. An eligible collector may nominate one of their own cards, and every collector gets one vote per week. When the week closes, the card with the most votes is crowned Grail of the Week and featured on every Home screen until the next winner is crowned.
Voting is for community recognition only. Winning confers no prize, payment, or other value. We may change the schedule and rules, delay or cancel a week, or void results affected by manipulation or error.
7. Card Information Disclaimer
Grailboard does not authenticate, grade, verify, or appraise cards. Grades, certification numbers, and descriptions are entered by the collector who posted them. Grailboard makes no guarantee about the authenticity, condition, grading, value, or market significance of any card shown on the Service. Verify independently before relying on anything you see here.
8. Free Service and Limits
Grailboard is free. There are no paid tiers, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Every account has the same limits — currently 100 cards, 3 Vault Walls, and 1 Holy Grail — which we may change.
9. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app.
- Scrape, harvest, or collect user data or Content without permission.
- Circumvent security, rate limits, or account limits.
- Abuse, overload, or interfere with the Service.
- Use Grailboard for any unlawful purpose.
10. Account Deletion and Termination
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete Account, or by emailing support@grailboard.app from the address on your account. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period; signing back in during that window cancels the deletion. See grailboard.app/delete-account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Content that was hidden by moderation, and records needed to enforce these Terms or comply with law, may be retained after deletion.
11. Disclaimer
Grailboard is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee continuous availability, error-free operation, the accuracy of user-generated content, or permanent preservation of uploaded Content. Keep your own copies of your photos.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grailboard and Rimal Labs LLC are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months (which is zero) and the minimum permitted by law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights you have under the law where you live.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version at grailboard.app/terms with an updated effective date, and for material changes we will notify you in the app. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
